Well we’re now in the last month of the year, but that doesn’t mean our career planning should stop for the year! December can be a great time to look back over what you’ve planned – and achieved! – and make some goals for future improvements. This of course should be followed by practical steps and acting on them!
Let’s take a look at the career challenges for this year:
- education
- dream job
- improve skills
- new discipline
- use free resources
- develop a network of contacts
- develop a short term plan
- develop a long term plan
- discover the other hemisphere
It is important when you want to get ahead, to set goals and work towards them in small steps. If you feel that the above challenges don’t cover all that you would have liked to achieve or plan to achieve for the year, then set yourself a challenge for December that suits you!
