A workmate informed me today of Darley’s latest program in the Thoroughbred industry. So if you’ve heard of Darley, you’ve probably been made aware of their Darley Flying Start program. Starting in July of 2012, Sheikh Mohammed has set up another education program that is set to benefit Thoroughbred enthusiasts from China.
This internship lasts for 12 months and runs from July of one year until June the following. Why should this be such an appealing opportunity?
- The 12 month program is fully funded
- Successful applicants can be based in Britain, Ireland, France, Australia, the USA or Japan
- Further travel to Dubai will be included for students to gain further industry experience
- English lessons will be provided as well as access to learning about equine husbandry, agriculture, marketing, stallion nominations and much more
- All travel and accommodation expenses as well as a monthly living allowance will be provided
Applications have already closed for this year and 12 lucky interns will find themselves on an incredible journey over the next twelve months.
