I just hit 30,000 words for my work in progress novel! Whoop! Now it’s about a quarter written… this thing is gonna take forever!
Once it is (finally) finished and I can consider the possibility of having it published, there’ll be a few places online that I’ll have to try and get the book available from. One that I stumbled across today that will further the reading/purchasing addiction is http://www.equitainment.com.au/.
I can’t think of anything better if you’re passionate about horses and love writing about them than to see words you have put together available for sale and for all to read!
For those of you who love to write and love the idea of putting your passion for horses into words, consider the possibilities that the Internet has opened for you and for the chance of publicity. Practically anyone can have access to the stories or information if you’re willing to put them into words. Don’t let people tell you that you can’t do it, just pursue it!

My Dad has been encouraging me to write for ages now. Oh HorseFeathers is my very first attempt at putting anything together. Its been a journey and a half in the few months it has been up to say the least!
It is serving a great purpose though- I am learning a tremendous amount, and someday, someday, hope to be able to produce a saleable work about horses. Fact or fiction, I have no clue yet, but the idea is brewing inside me now!
This writing stuff is like a bug! Once you get it, it will not let you go… 😉
