It’s great to have an overall (at times, overwhelming) goal, but it’s the little steps that you take toward this goal that make it happen. Every step forward is that little bit closer to your end goal.
So your challenge for the month of June is to choose one skill that you haven’t mastered, but need to in order to achieve your career goal. This could be a technical hands on skill, like:
- plaiting up a horse
- learning flying lead changes
- rising to the trot
Or it could relate to relationships with horse personnel – potential clients, staff or managers. Perhaps you need to connect with someone and start a business relationship.
Whatever your one skill is, write it down and outline how you will go about achieving it over June. As always, feel free to comment on your goal and good luck!
