For children to take part, they can sign up at wereadhorsebooks.com.
You can download the reading log (use this to mark off each book that you read against their various topics and recommendations). Next, register to take part, read and complete the log activities from June – August.
Finally, submit your completed cards. If you finish by September 1st, you are eligible to win fun prizes from participating authors.
(I’m taking part as an author again this year! Book 1 from my Free Rein series is on offer in eBook format).
Kids of all ages are welcome to participate. Whether they are pre-K, early readers, middle-grade readers or young adult, it is possible to participate – and there are horse books to cover each of these age groups.
I encourage you to check out We Read Horse Books to further find out how to participate and sign up. And if you’re looking for some ideas about what to read over this time, I have reviewed many fiction and non fiction horse books right here on Equus Education.
