Today is Blog Action Day, the topic being the Power of We. I love working with horses, learning about them and encouraging others who want to do the same. Sometimes I like to think that it’s my drive that helps me in these areas, but it wouldn’t be possible at all without the help of so many others.

Consider your interest in horses and the things you’ve learnt about them – who has helped you? A few ideas:
- horse riding instructors
- farriers
- equine education teachers
- university and TAFE teachers
- pony club lecturers
- parents, friends and other family
- authors
- every horse you interact with
This is far from an exhaustive list! Feel free to leave a comment about others that have or are continuing to help you in your endeavour to become a better informed horse person. It is up to you to improve as a horse person. However, it’s the power of we that helps you to learn so much about horses!
If you’re considering a career with horses but don’t know where to start, check out Vocation 100 – on here I have listed in excess of 100 equine related jobs. Who knows, maybe one of these is worth pursuing? 🙂
